I noticed that OpenVPN is a selectable option for interface.

      1.  What IP would an OpenVPN client use to be redirect

      2. Would this work with a broadcast?  Would it forward a broadcast to a specified internal IP?

You can do NAT and port forwards with it too, but you can't ever do port forwards on broadcast traffic, nor do you ever want to.
