      Hi,
Is it possible for the Captive portal and squid to co-exist when the end users have their browser proxy settings explicitly set to pfsensehost:3128?
From my testing, this just allows the users to bypass the captive portal and browse freely.
It works fine when Squid is in transparent mode, but I would like to retain the ability of SSL sites being logged (CONNECT in the squid logs) and being able to block potentially high-bandwidth SSL sites by URL in the future if the need arises.
      Thanks.

        Presently no.
Though that can be done by improving the package.

Thanks for the confirmation. (looks like I'll have to do some convincing to get some $$$ allocated).
