    Hi all,
Is a simple backup of the config.xml enough to be able to reinstall a new PFsense box from scratch and recover everything about the certificates (cert auhorities, certificates and revocation authority) ?

On 2.0 that is all held in the config.xml - nothing else needs backed up.

If you're on 1.2.3 and made them with EasyRSA following the tutorial in the book/wiki, then it's under /root/
