      Hello

      i have the following setup
      modem – (wan interface)pfsense box -- lan
i gave my modem an ip adress in the same ip range then my lan ip adresses
      but i cant access it.
      i found this tutorial: http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Accessing_modem_from_inside_firewall
tried it but it did not work :(

does this not work because the modem ip is on the same ip range ? (in the tutorial the modem lies on another subnet then the lan)
it should be a simple matter to forward packets from the lan subnet to the new opt interface, but i cant figure out how todo that

      thanks

Yes, that is exactly why it doesn't work. Your modem and pfsense box cannot have the same LAN subnet. Change your modem IP range or your pfsense LAN IP range.
