PowerD

I assume this is the correct place to put this question as powerd is built into pfsense 2.0.
does anyone know if powerd has any configurable options? like making the power management less / more aggressive? I have enabled it via Advanced >Miscellaneous >ticking the box and then can see the cpu use moving on the dashboard screen.
when ticking the box it says next to it "The powerd utility monitors the system state and sets various power control options accordingly. It offers three modes (maximum, minimum, and adaptive)" but i have no idea where to change that?cheers ;D

They are all command line options to powerd. We don't have a way in the GUI to tweak them yet. You could always hand edit /etc/inc/system.inc and change the parameters passed to powerd. By default we use:
/usr/sbin/powerd -b adp -a adp
Which according to the man page is "adaptive" for A/C and Battery.
