I've got three interfaces, WAN, SECURED (firewall protected) on 10.162.234.0/24 and VPN on 10.162.235.0/24.

I've configured OpenVPN to use 10.164.235.0/24 as the tunnel network and 10.162.235.0/24 as the local network.

pfSense can ping my server at 10.162.235.20 and the server can ping back to 10.162.235.1

My remote client can connect (via WAN) and ping the pfSense VPN interface at 10.162.235.1

However, the remote client cannot ping the server. I've configured the OpenVPN firewall pass rule to log and it shows that the ICMP request is passed.

The client routing table shows that 10.162.235/24 uses 10.164.235.5 as a gateway.

What else do I need to do to allow access to the server?

      [SOLVED]

I just needed to add a route to the server so that replies to 10.164.235.0 go through 10.162.235.1

      Chris
