OpenVPN client: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)

  • Hi,

I'm hopeless with my problem. Using this great tutorial: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,29944.0.html,  I could successfully establish connect to OpenVPN service provide (HMA) but on any network activity I keep getting this kind of OpenVPN log messages :

    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)
    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)
    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)
    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)
    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)
    Dec 18 22:12:37 openvpn[14092]: write TCPv4_CLIENT: Operation not permitted (code=1)

    And firewall log (Action Block):
Act Time If Source Destination Proto
    Dec 18 22:17:01 WAN   XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:41392   80.79.113.114:443 TCP:A
    Dec 18 22:17:02 WAN   XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:41392   80.79.113.114:443 TCP:A
    Dec 18 22:17:03 WAN   XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:41392   80.79.113.114:443 TCP:A
    Dec 18 22:17:04 WAN   XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:41392   80.79.113.114:443 TCP:A
    Dec 18 22:17:05 WAN   XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:41392   80.79.113.114:443 TCP:A

I tried to play around with firewall rules (including allow all for every interface) but nothing seems to work (I keep getting these block log entries).

    Any ideas?
