        A stateful firewall isn't a "feature to test".
        It's more a description of what pf is.

        May i suggest you read up on this first:
        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stateful_firewall
        http://www.pearsonhighered.com/samplechapter/0672327376.pdf

        After that, this might help you:
        http://security.stackexchange.com/questions/8124/how-do-experienced-users-test-stateful-firewall

        Altough if you're not already familiar with what a stateful firewall is it will take you a long time to get into a position to actually "test" a stateful firewall ;)

        We do what we must, because we can.

          Hi,

          Well, On PfSense 1.2.3, you have the 'Show states' menu on front page 'System Overview' to get a firewall states list :
          tcp 94.245.117.45:80 <- 130.120.209.126:53964 ESTABLISHED:ESTABLISHED
          tcp 130.120.209.126:53964 -> 94.245.117.45:80 ESTABLISHED:ESTABLISHED
          …

          Regards,
