I have a problem to get pfsense to boot on my HP N36L Server
The Memstick image does work and boot finethe nanbsd image, regardless which one i choose (written with physdiskwrite)
the kernel does boot but does hang on mounting rootafter typing in ufs:/dev/da0s1a on the "hanging point" pfsense finished booting and i could setup my nics and Ip
i checked the loader.conf (did /etc/rc.conf_mount_rw first) and it is empty
where do I configure the root for slice 1 and 2 ?
Any idea ?

when i put the da0S1a as default root in the loader.conf under /boot/default it works and pfsense does boot
strangeEdit
selecting Option 3 (boot from USB) on the boot menu did the trick not the change on the entry in the file
How do I change the default entry on the menu ?
