      Is there a conflict with Firewall outbound filtering and Squid Proxy?

      I put a rule on the LAN tab to block all traffic to an ALIAS of Internet addresses (radio stations , etc) and users can still access them without any effort.

      Here's an example of the rule.

        The traffic is initiated by Squid, not LAN hosts, in that case. Moving that to a floating rule with quick and no interfaces specified should work.

          Thanks, I'll try it out.  By the way, just bought some of these http://www.10zig.com/thinclient/xpe-6000.php for pfsense 2.x and runs great with Intel gigabiPCI.  5 of them at $150.

              @arushi:

              cmb wrote it. Put your rule in the floating rules and use the quick option.
