Just wondering if there were future plans to enhance the WebGUI so that one could create a custom table – especially one that persists a file in the file system like table <bogons>is.  The firewall_aliases.php might be a convenient place to do it.

I'm interested in incorporating custom tables within pfsense's rules so that I can pull down other people's lists (via a similar mechanism as rc.update_bogons.sh) of ad servers or malware host IPs or smartfilter bots ... or whatever, and block access from or to them through my firewall.</bogons>

Code already exists to fetch remote url's and turn them into aliases in -HEAD.  It needs to be tested a lot more then we can consider it for 1.3.
