      Hi,

I've got a problem…. SMTP is always giving a timeout...

opened the port in the NAT, with the option to create the FW rule... still not working... the weird thing is with the same rules for HTTP the HTTP works...
What am i doing wrong ? does SMTP need something else ?

      Thx

      Jeroen

It should work just like the http forward.
I'm not sure where you are testing from, but SMTP is filtered by many ISPs for 'home' accounts. I would verify it was broken by using an external test. If you have an MX pointed to it, you could use www.dnsreport.com. I think zoneedit.com has a test that you can point to an IP, but I haven't tried it.
