hey guys, 1st of, I must say, I love pfsense, works amazingly well most of the time, hence ive never even needed to post here  :D

But one things I've noticed with the VPN menu, when setting it up as a new client connection is that if i were to copy and paste my providers .ovpn file into the advanced instructions section at the bottom, when i boot up my openvnc, it follows all the instructions perfectly, the logs even point out when the advanced instructions conflict with what I've set… and complaining when the directory/file the .ovpn is directing to doesnt exist

So i came up with an idea, I created 3 new files in /conf/ that corresponded to the .crt .key and ca.crt files the opvn wanted, changed the addresses in advanced and bingo, pfsense read and acted on the ca,crt and key files,

Have i stumbled across an easier way to set up pfsense as a VPN Client? Is there anyway i could skip the 'creation' (me filling in the specifics) and instead just copy over my files and have pfsense read and act upon them instead to set up the VPN?

Cheers guys, hope someone can explain to me what I found lols  ;D
