      Hello folks!

Posted this also in the Swedish section, but want to post it also in here to see what clues and tips you folks can end up with.

The cert that pfSense is using is self signed, and heck, I wanted a better looking one with the right information in it. Therefore I created a new one, switched to the new one, and after the 20 seconds it should take for the new cert I ended up with NO access to the webGUI.

Tried to restart it, tried to reset the password, tried to revert it to http from https, with no luck what so ever! Ended up that I needed to re-install the router to fix the problem…

If anyone have a tip/guide for this, please share it how to fix this and not ended up with an unreachable router to the webGUI.

In general this should work without problems.

Further if it does not work you can connect to pfsense using ssh or console and reassign the LAN ip address. then it will ask you if you would like to revert to http. This should be enough.

I did this on pfsense 2.0.0 and it worked.
