OpenVPN Bridging between 1.2.3-RELEASE and 2.0.1-RELEASE

Hi,

Is it possible to do OpenVPN bridging with 1.2.3 and 2.0.1, I have succesfully done it between 2 running 2.0.1 with this guide http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,38605.0.html.
The 2 sites are running on the same subnet.
But I am not able to get this to work when either server or client is 1.2.3.

Can anyone help.
