VOIP random disconnect
-
Hi guys,
I have another issue for you! :)
I've noticed that my VOIP phone will randomly stop working (no longer ring or be able to dial out) and I find rebooting the VOIP ATA appliance will restore service.
The phone/ATA appliance worked fine before I moved over to pfSense so I do not believe it is a fault of the service or other devices.
When I first setup I had not entered any rules in the firewall except allow out any. The phone worked fine so I left it alone. Then the random disconnect started so I added the following:
Under NAT: WAN TCP/UDP VOIP_Provider_IP * WAN address 5060 (SIP) MY_ATA_IP 5060 (SIP) and under firewall: TCP/UDP VOIP_Provider_IP * MY_ATA_IP 5060 (SIP) * qACK/qVoIP
Not sure what else there is to add. Does anyone have any ideas?
2. I added a rule to log all connections from the VOIP provider IP, only I am unable to locate anything in the firewall log to view for this using the GUI. Can anyone help? Ideal would be to be able to search back through the logs for a keyword??? Right now I am only able to see logs for the most recent stuff only.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers!
