      Hiya,
Iam trying to generate a CA for my openvpn and keep getting following error msg.

openssl library returns: error:0D07A097:asn1 encoding routines:ASN1_mbstring_ncopy:string too long

Can anyone please tell me which value iam filling in wrong?
Or what else could be the reason?
      thx,blub4747

Where did you get this error ? On console ?
You can create in from GUI on the Cert Manager and export these certificates to your windows clients or better just use the OpenVPN Export Utiliti (additional package).

What were you entering into all of the fields for the CA?

As it says there, one of the strings was too long. Not sure which one it was complaining about though, if we can find out and repeat it, the input validation can be fixed to print a nicer error.
