      Hi there,

My company have 2 subnet from the modem, which is 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx.

In my case, I did try use 192.168.1.xxx subnet for the pfsense, it's work fine and able access to internet.
The problem is when I'm using 192.168.2.xxx subnet, the gateway status shown offline and unable access to internet.

Any idea for this issue ?

      Thanks ;)

Would you please explain a bit more

Are those subnets between modem and pfsense?
        What is your multiwan setup?

first, my company firewall have 2 subnet which is 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx…
If I put the pfsense under 192.168.1.xxx, it's work fine...
If put under 192.168.2.xxx, the pfsense gateway will shown offline status and I'm unable to access internet...

pfsense is direct connect from the current firewall...
I don't think i had setup multiwan and what is multiwan ???

          Thanks for your reply  :)

Multiwan, you can have multiple modems or routers between pfsense and Internet.

            What is your topology?

            ISP -- Public IP / Modem / (192.168.1.xxx) -- (192.168.1.xxx) / pfsense / (192.168.0.xxx) -- LAN

              ISP – Public IP / Modem -> firewall (192.168.1.xxx) / (192.168.2.xxx) -> pfsense (192.168.1.xxx) / (192.168.2.xxx) -> LAN

Problem is pfsense set as 192.168.2.xxx, gateway will offline...

do you have multiple interfaces or do you have vlans between firewall and pfsense?

so you do have multiwan(atleast pfsense's point of view).
I'm sorry I have no multiwan setup experience and thus fore can't help you any further.

how if your 192.168.2.xxx subnet setup?

To me it doesnt sound like you have a multilan.  It just sound like you have two lan interfaces.  Is that correct?

but i can access internet if i using my laptop and using 192.168.2.xxx subnet.
                        Yes, it's have 2 lan interfaces…

Please make a drawing where you mark isp/internet, modem, pfsense and lan + all subnet + cables

How is your gateway configured for your 192.168.2.x interface?

pman860507 : It's didn't had any limitation from the current firewall. My office firewall just simply split 2 subnet from modem, which is 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx.

Metu69salemi : my flow just like below.

Modem (ISP) -> Office firewal (Currently using) (output 2 subnet : 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx) -> Main Switches (local LAN) -> PFsense (split 2 subnet : 192.168.3.xxx and 192.168.4.xxx)(by using VMware) -> User.

Now problem is 192.168.1.xxx gateway also will down aand shown offline status… :'(
