Internal IPv6 problems…
-
Hey guys…
Still picking at it :/I can ping v6 sites from the pfbox but all the divices on the network have that notorious fe80:
This is the steps i took so far
- Released the old IPv6 on He and got a new one
- erased interface and GIF tunnel and restarted PF box
- Input all the information and applied the changes... and restarted the PFbox
- Pinged several servers and getting responses as well as i have access to the pfsense packages
therefore leads me to believe this is an internal LAN issue rather then WAN/HE related...
SO with that being said, I went back and took re-set all the v6 settings to the new IPv6 address and set the DHCPv6 in range of specified IPv6.
ROuter Advertising is set to Managed and Normal mode is selected. Im also using the google DNS servers.
Even went as far as manually assigning IPv6 info on my laptop and still says that there is no internet connection...Also when using the same settings on LAN2 and LAN3 I don't get anything available using the same settings as LAN1
Any ideas ??

Everything will always have a fe80 (link local) address. They not have an address in addition to that?

I tried to ping even the firewall and there's no response.
yes rules are in place to allow all v6 to all and nothingI double checked again today the v6 tunnels functionality…
