      I have squid setup

I am wpad.dat file and dns forwarder.

I made a rule to block all traffic http or port 80.

Now what about https traffic, I tried to make a firewall rule to block https and thought that it would get redirected through squid.  I was wrong on that one.

      cheers

If you have blocked port 443 (https) with a firewall rule, have you open access to the same port on the squid config..?
What about wpad.dat file and dns forwarder???
