The captive portal was working fine for a while, but suddenly the users could access the internet without having to enter a login and when I check the log I always see this message:

php[33003]: /services_captiveportal_ip.php: The command '/sbin/ipfw table 9 delete 10.100.78.254/32' returned exit code '71', the output was 'ipfw: setsockopt(IP_FW_TABLE_DEL): No such process'

I have now tried to change settings and to deactivate the portal and then start it again but there is just always this error message. I would prefer if I would not have to delete the config for the simple reason that I have already entered many MAC-addresses manually.

Thank you so much for your input concerning this problem.

That usually means you are missing the ipfw kernel module.
        What version is this in?

          It's the 2.0.1-RELEASE (i386)
