Pfsense 2.0 is blocking Google Earth
-
Hello,
I'm a complete newbie to pfsense 2.0 and my problem is that pfsense is blocking the servers of Google Earth. I don't know what I have to do to configure pfSense so that it let Google Earth communicate with his servers. So, what I need is a step by step manual for complete beginners to solve this problem.
Please help me,

Sorry, but you are going to have to provide details.
Log samples would be nice. We need things like IPs and rules you are using. What direction is the traffic, I would assume with Google earth that you are originating the connection from his server and not from Google. -
Google Earth needs to reach the following sites:
http://kh.google.com/
http://geo.keyhole.com/
http://auth.keyhole.com/The only thing I have to know is where can I configure pfSense to let Google Earth acces to that sites.

Those are all giving 404 errors (with geo timing out). This is usually a remote configuration problem.
Usually all outbound is open on the LAN tab. Have you restricted outbound connections?
If you have, then you can create a URL alias (Firewall -> Aliases) and set a rule to allow traffic to those sites. -
You don't have to configure anything to allow access to those sites.
The default setup in pfsense is to allow ALL traffic outbound. So either you changed that and are blocking specific networks? Or your having a problem resolving it? Or you isp is having issues?
But without some details it is impossible to point you in the right direction.
