      I plugged in a USB WLAN card, but how do I make it operate with PFsense?

        Plug in the device before you boot up. Run assign interfaces either from the shell menu or from the webgui Interfaces>assign. If the device is detected there it might work but I doubt it. If not there is nothing we can do atm as it most likely isn't supported by freebsd.

          you need a usb wireless stick with a ralink rt2500 chipset like the
          new sweex LC100060
          the older version of the sweex LC100060 don't work it has the ZyDas chipset

            I used Asus WL-167G and works very well… then I buy D-Link DWL-520 (PCI): this is work fine!
