How To Make A Wireless Repeater

I have been using pfsense for a while now for my main router and I have nothing but love for this software. So I have been interested in building a repeater using something like a WRAP 2c and some high power antheros mini pci cards. I have done some searching but havent found anything that quite comes out and says it. Any input is valued. -
There is no way at this time to make a system that's just a repeater for an existing wireless network. You could use a WRAP with Atheros cards to extend a wireless network, but it would have to be through the creation of another wireless network (on one side it would connect to your existing wireless network, on the other side it would have a new wireless network).
