      Hi all,

I'm new in pfSense and i was deleting the logs of the IMInspector, but i probably made some mistake and after that i wasn't able to access pfSense using the webgui. Whenever i try to connect using webgui, appears "404 - Not Found".

      2 questions:
-I deleted only the webaccess and system will operate as before or it will became instable due this?

-Without restarting the machine can i install pfsense in other machine and copy the web directory to the deleted pfsense machine?
      Can it solve my problem?

      Any ideas?

      Thanks in advance,
      Teixeira

If you dont know EXACTLY what you did then it probably best to just reinstall the machine. If you know which file you deleted you might be able to put it back using ssh, but it would probably be much quicker to reinstall.

You can find the files you need here: http://pfsense.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/pfSense/usr/local/www/

SSH in to the machine or get local console access. Then perform a firmware upgrade from the console (it's in the shellmenu). As these are full upgrades it will add the missing files back.
