How to filter multiple groups and different level?
-
Hi guys,
I'm new to pfsense and spent hours and hours to get it working.
Finally, I would like to be able to block certain websites for certain people/group/ip addresses.
For now I need 2 different levels of access to the web.Setup:
pfsense 2.0.2 i386
2 nics, WAN = 172.16.0.2 - forwarded to my modem/router, LAN = 172.168.1.1 - one client in this range
packages: squid, squidguard, dansguardianI have followed this post http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,47856.msg252005.html#msg252005 and got the system working.
Can someone help me - or point me to a guide - on howto create 2 groups/users and assign different levels of filtering.
For 1 group it should be bloking everything except a list of some exceptions. Thanks a lot in advance!
PeterFrom another thread:
Dansguardian can do it easily if squid is logging users.
On site acls, look for **. It blocks all sites. After setting acls, create a group and assign acls you need on it.
To use LDAP integration, fill LDAP info and use the same group name you have on AD.Can someone explain this a little more please?
For now, it's ok to use local users/groups so the LDAP integration not needed (yet, I'm a little under pressure since this system has to replace a failing winbox.)EDIT: added info
