I need to know all the address ranges that my ISP can use for their - whatever needs. So I started with digging the domain name of one of their mailservers and fed the result to whois. I got a subnet (eg 232.23.0.0/16).
But! That company might have other ranges assigned. How would I find out? Thx

        http://whois.arin.net/rest/ip/232.23.0.0

I'd start with that URL but put known IPs in there.  You might be able to find other blocks the ISP owns by going up the hierarchy.

Well, in the meantime i found out that I am in the "ripe" zone (the subnet was just an example) and I've tried https://apps.db.ripe.net/search/query.html to find out more but I am seriously lost…

          Im gonna read https://www.ripe.net/data-tools/support/documentation/ripe-database-user-manual-getting-started now.

sorry for pre-maturely asking about this. I just can't stop asking for help instead of putting some effort in reading about things...first! :P
