    Dear community

I've been testing the pfsense firewall and when I run a ping flood to an external IP, pfsense automatically drop icmp packets even if there is no any firewall rule applied.

If I run ping -f x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is a external IP, pfsense should route the packets, however it seems that there is an implicit rule that drop icmp flood packets even if the packets have a destination IP other than the pfsense

Is there a configuration parameter to modify this behavior?

    Thank you in advance
