Hi I'm new to this forum and kind of new to pfSense so forgive me for any missing info, but I'll gladly give it if you can tell me how to obtain it.

When I enable CP in one interface, it asks me for a username and password. I enter them and the CP says that it's redirecting but nothing happens. I tried to ping an IP on another local network, and it's not working, the packets are lost en the router (I checked this with tcpdum). So i was wondering if any of you have any idea why this is happening?

I have pfSense 2.0.3 (since I read in this forum that 2.0.3 is the best for CP but I was having the same issue before updating the firmware).
I'm using VLANs (don't know if that matters)
The DNS's are differente machines (I have 2 DNS)

      I appreciate any help.
      Thanks

        Welcome to the forums.

        On your CP network/interface:

        • Is DHCP giving out the right gateway?

        • Have you added any PASS rules to the firewall config?

Could you post some (screenshots of) your CP config and firewall rules?

        Thanks

Hi jonallport, thank you for your answer and sorry for not coming back quickly.

I solved the issue and I think I found a bug.
I enabled "Per-user bandwidth restriction" and put a value of 1024 for "Default download", but for "Default upload" I leave it at 0 because the instruction said that for no limit, but it seems that the "no limit" is not working, because when I change it to 512, everything worked just fine.

          Should I report this?
          Greetings

I believe if the post is not "too old" you can modify it through the Modify menu item

Mmmmm too bad that the first post does not show a Modify menu.

                Thank you for your suggestion.
