RTMP Port Test Fail

Hey I am having an issue with rtmp ports. I am brand new to PFsense as I came into my current job after it was already setup (kind of) and I am planning on doing a redo of the system over the summer. I just can't get my head around pfsense and I am unsure of where to open things up.

But if you want unsolicited traffic to be sent to a IP behind pfsense - then its a simple port forward.

That was my initial thought. And it should work, but either I am doing it wrong or something else, because after forwarding the ports I still have no success.

And what is in front of your pfsense..  Like 99 out of 100 times users have issues with port forwards that I help with its because pfsense is behind a NAT already and the traffic never gets there.

Or they uncheck the box to have pfsense auto create the firewall rule for the forward.

Your correct port forwards take like 2 seconds to setup, if not working either the traffic is not getting to pfsense (double nat) or your doing it wrong ;)

Common mistake is also putting in something in the source port, when 99.999% of the time the source port should be ANY.  Since the application making a connection to your service is going to be using some random port above 1023.
