      Hi all,

I installed pfSense 2.0.3 in VMware and I am unable to ping
hosts on the LAN subnet (192.168.0.0). The hosts (192.168.0.15 & 192.168.0.220)
on the LAN subnet can ping each other, but they can't ping the LAN interface IP
address (192.168.0.8), and they can't ping the host OS.

From the host OS, I can ping the WAN interface IP (192.168.101.8), but I can't
      LAN interface IP address (192.168.0.8)

      WAN firewall rules:
      Allow ICMP Source * Port * Destination * Port * gateway *
      Allow TCP/UDP Source * Port * Destination * Port * gateway *

      LAN firewall rules:
      Allow ICMP Source * Port * Destination * Port * gateway *
      Allow TCP/UDP Source * Port * Destination * Port * gateway *

Can anyone help me out? Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

      Thanks in advance.

Use bridged networking and assign an IP address in the 192.168.0.x network to pfSense.
