      Dear All,

Thank you for creating this great community!
Thank you for helping us newbies in this OpenSource endeavor.

As the title says, I would like to know if currently it is possible to synchronize authenticated state between two or more Captive Portal servers.

I've using the search function without any satisfying result. Maybe someone can point me to the right direction.

We have a load balancer to put in front  of the captive portal server group. We need to be able to load balance and recover transparently should there be any problem with any of the captive portal servers.

      Does CARP/or pfsync support this?

      Thank you in advance

authenticated users are in ipfw so we'd need something like 'ipfw sync' but it's still missing

Stefano Busanelli seams to have a workaround but I didn't see it:

edit: it's feature #97 for future releases
