I've looked around the forum for this, but I can't seem something appropriate - if you know that it has been answered in another topic, please forward me there :)
Anyways, this is what I'm trying to do:

I'm trying to include a secure element (that requires HTTPS) in the HTML captive portal page like a Facebook like widget or something - so people can like my page without having to buy vouchers etc.

I know you can't redirect from HTTPS pages to the captive portal for some reason - and also, I know there is a secure captive portal option (which requires me to get a certificate)  - so I haven't tried it yet - but I was wondering if I have a secure portal, will including secure elements that require HTTPS automatically work (obviously if the host is allowed)
