      Hi all,

i'm new here, i've some questions as title says.

I've a vpn, with alot of number connected, but at every restart of openvpn addresses changes.
I need to set it static, so, i tried to find something on google.

      I read this :http://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/faq/77-server/273-qifconfig-poolq-option-use-a-30-subnet-4-private-ip-addresses-per-client-when-used-in-tun-mode.html

It says we need 4 ip for every client in order to mantain the compatibility between os/s.
This problem comes only if we want to connect linux and windows clients, right?

But if i've only linux clients, will i need only 2 ip's for clients? (1 ip for client, and one for server because of ptp protocol) Right?

      This was the theory.

On the praticle side, for set that ips as static, should i create a Client specific overrides with the ifconfig-push ipclient ipserver command?

      Many thanks

      Best regards,
      ADiEmme
