      Hi,

I have trouble keeping an openvpn server alive on my pfsense. Its running  pfsense 2.1-RELEASE (amd64) and it has been stable so far. However when I setup an openvpn server it crashes when a client connects:

ovpns4: link state changed to UP
pid 166 (ntpd), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 64653 (openvpn), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
ovpns4: link state changed to DOWN

This is the log on the client side:

Mon Mar 31 17:12:30 2014 Initialization Sequence Completed
Mon Mar 31 17:13:25 2014 [redacted] Inactivity timeout (--ping-restart), restarting
      Mon Mar 31 17:13:25 2014 SIGUSR1[soft,ping-restart] received, process restarting
Mon Mar 31 17:13:27 2014 UDPv4 link local (bound): [undef]
      Mon Mar 31 17:13:27 2014 UDPv4 link remote: [AF_INET][redacted]
      Followed by timeouts.

It always crashes in tandem with ntp. Sometimes ntp crashes for itself. It might be related to https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/3045
But I'm not sure. Has someone made similar experiences? Possible workarounds?

EDIT: I shuffled around the settings of the openvpn server: Crypto, TUN/TAP etc. without any impact.

      Thanks in advance.
