It looks like the hashes for the new 2.1.1 release are currently missing:

        e.g.

        https://files.pfsense.org/hashes/pfSense-memstick-serial-2.1.1-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz.md5
        https://files.pfsense.org/hashes/pfSense-memstick-serial-2.1.1-RELEASE-amd64.img.gz.sha256

The hashes weren't replicating to the mirrors, this should be fixed.
(They were actually with the files for download, but apparently we also keep this at this other unrelated URL as well).

All nanobsd filenames are still completely broken on amd64 (missing .img.gz)

Thank-you again for the hard work, it is highly appreciated. Where can I donate to a beer/coffee fund?

Why do the mirrors show a 2.1.2 release of PFsense dated today? And why does my system log keep showing a rejected connection from "www1.atx.pfmechanics.com"? Am I crazy or is something funny going on?

                  Because 2.1.2 was released today?

You're just crazy. I suspect you're seeing out of state web traffic from browsing this site.

If you look, I posted BEFORE that blog post went up, so my concern is not completely unfounded. My "obtaining update status" stopped working, the mirrors were either empty or had the new version, and I saw the bizarre stuff in the log all at about the same time. Yea, so thanks for being supportive, because that is so much harder than being condescending…..
