      Hi all
i newbie for pfsense, i've download and install pfsense 2.1.3 , after install on hardisk and set WAN, LAN successful (no VLAN). i enable captive portal service, i try to used captive portal with LAN interfaces , the way i do are :

      • enable captive portal , i upload captive portal html file  , should local user manager and save

      • go to allow ip address and  add 127.0.0.1 and add my pfsense DNS in my case is gate way ip

      • and add user in  System >> User Manager

      • add firewall rule on LAN interface allow LAN address to any

I test DNS forwarder by open terminal on client and used dig command some web url,  ok i got address and see dns's IP is DHCP pfsense on LAN  interface. :)

when i open web browser and type url as www.google.com , www.flick.com or www.yahoo.com everything work fine. captive portal pop up and i log in success  ;)

But,  the problem is www.facebook.com …. everytime i start my computer client  and open web browser and type url www.facebook.com  ... captive portal will struck on that session.  :o  if i open new session any type other url isn't www.facebook.com  captive portal pop up again.  ::)

my computer client os is fedora20 my web browser is firefox29 ;D

anyone have same issue as me ??  ,, any suggest  please.

www.facebook.com automaticly redirects you to https://www.facebook.com, if you want to have portal login page for https/ssl try "enable HTTPS login" option in captive portal settings
