      I am running pfsense 2.1
      Squid
      Radius VIA active directory

hundreds of users daily but certain apples devices will not seem to authenticate fully. They join the wifi successfully, then they are prompted at the captive portal web page for their credentials. They enter their credentials (I can see they are correct as the radius server logs is accepting them and granting the policy) but the captive portal web page just flashes and asks them to login again. They do not show up as users in captive portal stats on pfsense.

Is this some sort of Apple update to their post wifi successful connection? Will the new version of pfsesne fix this issue.

      cheers.

          .....

          I'm using 2.1.3
I'm using an iPhone to test my portal Interface.
An iPad if I can get my hands on it.

          All iDevices gave latest iOS.

          Other tablets.
          Other PC's.

Never had any problems. Also with older iOS versions.

edit: but curious why others do report (I believe them) problems with iStuff on the pfSense portal Interface.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

            Hi Gertjan

I think this problem has also started to manifest itself into other devices so it may not just be Apple. I have started another thread to which you have kindly gave me some advice on how to diagnose the issue.

The thread is here for anyone looking
