      hi

if i setup an wireless AP with an USB Wlan dongle everything works fine, but if i remove the USB Wlan dongle from the pfSense on the USB Slot, pfsense cant boot while the WLan interface can't be started.

is there any way to setup the pfSense that only Wireless is working if i plug the USB Dongle into the pfSense USB Slot, without to go everytime into the webinterface and disable the Wlan Interface ?

      best regards

Wireless is not well supported in pfSense. Use an external wifi point, plug in switch or separate interface, and configure from there  :P
