Pass-through MAC address issues

  • I use PFSense Captive Portal features for my small WISP environment, most clients are prepaid and authenticate thru RADIUS. I have 5 users, including myself that use the Pass-through MAC feature because the are not paying customers such as myself or longtime customers that are billed for other services.

    Twice this week I have disabled & reenabled the captive portal because restarting the service does not restore service to user on the pass-through MAC page. It seems that I have had some issues since upgrading to 2.1.4.

    The client that has had issues twice this week has been setup as a MAC pass-through for well over a year.
