      Howdy,

I'm a bit new to pfSense and the concept of a captive portal so please bear with me. I am looking to deploy a captive portal for a group of users that would not use individual accounts but rather share a single account as a group. I would like to display their collective bandwidth usage on the captive portal and restrict access after reaching a certain point. Is this too far of a stretch?

The pfSense captive portal is pretty much time-based, not usage-based.  I think making it do that would be a great deal of work.
