Upgraded to 2.1.5, now full-screen patch doesn't work, missing buttons

I had been using CHarlie0440's fullscreen patch on 2.1.4 without any problems. After updating to 2.1.5 on Friday, my display was messed up. Specifically, the Add and Delete Column buttons are gone and I have no idea how to get them back. I tried reinstalling the theme but it didn't make any difference. Neither did clearing my cache of reloading with Ctrl-F5. I'm not a web dev.

He made a new patch for the 2.1.5 version.

I was already using the 2.1.5 patch under 2.1.4.

Yes but thats wrong. Its 2 different things.
You need to use the 2.1.4 patch for 2.1.4.

There was no 2.1.4. widescreen patch as far as I know, only the 2.1.5 patch which worked fine under 2.1.4 as well.

Yes, that is the patch I used successfully under 2.1.4, and is currently misbehaving for me under 2.1.5.

I have 2.1.5 running in a virtualbox test environment and using the patch with no issues.

I was using the patch with no issues as well, until I upgraded. Now I can't control the columns at all.

It gets weirder. If I sit here and hammer Ctrl-F5 to force a hard refresh, 2 out of 5 times it will show the column control buttons. Otherwise they're gone. When they appear, I can click them and they create a new column. if I add a widget to that new column and click Save, it reverts back to the previous view without the new column.

Clear your temp files from the browser….and force the load of the GUI.
Result?

The result is that now the column control buttons never appear anymore.

Every time I do a gitsync, I have to re-apply the patch. I haven't any issues using firebox on windows 7.
