      Hello,
I have modified the captive portal template and added two images.
The images are saved  the same pfsense server.

But all devices on the network block these images and nothing appears in the captive portal but the text!.
I have no idea why this is happening!

      Thnx.

        rename your image
        from    image.jpg    to    captiveportal-image.jpg

call your image with the same image name

        url(image.jpg)      to      url(captiveportal-image.jpg)

        hope it helps

          added to that:
Goto Service => CaptivePortal en edit your portal settings.
          Goto the last tab "Filemanager".

          See the image file names.
          Draw your conclusions  ;)

@exofio said in Images in the captive portal are blocked:

it says The total size of all files uploaded may not exceed 1.00 MiB.

That's a build in save guard.
You want to put videos or huge images on your login/logout/error page ?
I'm sure that thousands already created a nicely looking login pages using a few kilobytes of space.

                        I you really have to, take a look at the constraint : https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/blob/master/src/usr/local/www/services_captiveportal_filemanager.php - lines 109 -> 111.

So, use 'vinconfig', go to the captive portal section and define (== override) this "captiveportal_element_sizelimit" yourself.
