Images in the captive portal are blocked

rename your image
from image.jpg to captiveportal-image.jpgcall your image with the same image name
url(image.jpg) to url(captiveportal-image.jpg)

added to that:
Goto Service => CaptivePortal en edit your portal settings.
Goto the last tab "Filemanager".See the image file names.
Draw your conclusions ;) -

I directly uploaded the images on var/db/cpelements ... should i change the file name to captiveportal-logo.jpg? Please help -

That's a build in save guard.
You want to put videos or huge images on your login/logout/error page ?
I'm sure that thousands already created a nicely looking login pages using a few kilobytes of space.I you really have to, take a look at the constraint : https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/blob/master/src/usr/local/www/services_captiveportal_filemanager.php - lines 109 -> 111.
So, use 'vinconfig', go to the captive portal section and define (== override) this "captiveportal_element_sizelimit" yourself.
