Captive portal & N.I.C

Hi guys. please guide me with the best set up for this
i have pfsense in old cpu proc = 3.0 GHz and 1Gb ram

Wan = onboard Lan
Lan = d-link fast ethernet
opt1 = tplink Gigabit

i would like to ask where should i enable the captive portal Lan or opt1?
i only setup pfsense for captive portal tru wireless

Always use an opt interface to your users side . You can use LAN but not recommened
