OpenVPN with Squid and HAVP

Hello, I wanted to filter OpenVPN clients with Squid and HAVP, I made a interface with openvpn and made the rules, all is working as intended, but I would like to know if all is as it was supposed to be:

I created a interface pointed it to "Network Port" of the VPN and duplicated the rules from the wizzard.

I went to Squid and HAVP and added the new interface.

Is this ok? Can I delete the wizzard created interface? Who can I do this? I tested to disable the old interface rules, and it keeps working, showing that pfsense is ignoring the old interface and routing my traffic from the new one.
