Problem with VOIP traffic filtering, packets being blocked, why?
-
Hi there,
I'm having a problem here with a VOIP system trying to get audio stream to hit the phone system. For some reason is being blocked.
screen shot one shows the NAT ports that are required
screen shot 2 shows the traffic that is being blocked hitting the WAN address
on the second image, is the traffic trying to reach the WAN address on 16k range of ports or on 28k range? I'm confused, but I believe the source is the originating IP address, and it comes from port 28k, and then it hits the firewall on the WAN address port 16k. Is this right?
If so, the ports that SIP provide and phone system gave me might be wrong, or am I confused about source and destinations ports? Is the case source port is actually the port it tried to hit the firewall and destination port is the port the firewall is using the respond?

Yes. The external source is trying to talk to your WAN IP address on port 16537, but you don't have a NAT rule that handles anything in that range.
