Openvp Client export compatibility with win8.1 x64

Hi,
Not sure if it has always been this way, but i noticed that the Openvpn export utility package 1.2.15 has an additional package export option which is x64win6
Is this version purpose built for windows 8.1? as i have had alot of issues with openvpn client on win8.1 despite making many suggested changes.
If anyone has had experience with this version please let me know so i can revert back to win8 from my win7.

The x64 export is with the openvpn client. The drivers for the tap wasn't working for the x64 that I recall - but that was fixed with the latest openvpn update. You should be able to run x64 version of openvpn without any issues that I am aware of.

The -win6 variants are for Windows Vista and newer, and they work fine on Windows 8.1 currently.
The variants without -win6 will still run on Windows 8.x but they use an older tap driver.

Confirmed -win6 variants work perfectly without changes required to win8 services options as mentioned in many early release tutorials.
