I have a webserver running on a machine on LAN1.
Port forward/firewall rules allow https access to port 443 on this server from WAN.

Can't access the server using its https://domainname from LAN, how can I allow this?
Hopefully that question makes some sense!

Basically what I have is a Hotel web reservation/some internal guest info sort of site at https://thehotelxxx.com on LAN server. I need to allow access to https://thehotelxxx.com from the hotels' LAN

Are you using pfSense for DNS?  Put in a host override to the local IP address.

DO NOT set a source port in a port forward or firewall rule unless you KNOW you need it!

Look at / Read –> Method 2: Split DNS: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Why_can%27t_I_access_forwarded_ports_on_my_WAN_IP_from_my_LAN/OPTx_networks
