    Need help setting up Squid on Pfsense.

      Hi and thank you for taking your time to read this topic.

      My goal is to have pfsense running squid as a cache but cache everything such as windows updates, ios updates and driver updates. I would like this to cache from a 4 port LAN card with a access point in one of the ports.

      I would really appreciate your help.

        You can download the squid3 it has an option to cache updates such as windows updates and free anti-virus updates.  The older version needs a bit of tuning.  Here is the tut https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Squid_Package_Tuning
